Full Story
"If you search Google for Kazaa Lite, you'll find the results a bit lacking. Ironically enough, Sharman Networks, using the DMCA, filed a legal complaint to block Kazaa Lite sites. " Google links the DMCA request at the end of the results which contain the URLs in question, but the URLs aren't really the point. It's scary that the DMCA makes URLs a copyright violation. How long before libraries can't index books? Or own them?

I thought that Kazaa Lite K++ was made by the same company, but it was their free version.

Who would have figured this would have happened, however, 10 results should be enough for anyone, because the 9th goes directly to KaZaA Lite's website.

However, if you read the comments at SlashDot, and look at the comment by Google, by allowing us to see the complaint with the links stated to be infringment, Google is basically saying "Up Yours" to Sherman Networks. Also by reading the comments at Slashdot, someone did a search just using KaZaA, and The 4th relevent link came up KaZaA Lite. Its also only Google that was told to remove the links, and their Word Ads still have the offending links.
