registry repair

Help! repair registry ver1.0.0.1 found lots of errors in my win2000 prof edition pc. But I have to purchase the software before it fixes the problem. Are there other free softwares that scan and fixes registry errors? Post links, please. Thanks.

    Hi!

    If Repair Registry finds errors and telling you to buy the product to fix the errors found then usually it means that it is not legit or trustworty piece of software.

    Download RegCleaner 4.3 from here and run it.

    Also, download Ad-Aware and SpyBot from here if you havn't already got them.

    Post back if you still need help :)

    I did and the download was a success. I used the tools to scan registry errors. Does it remove them automatically?

    What prompted you to run Registry Repair in the first place? Were you having specific problems?
