Okay, 2 of my friends have made personal forum sites off of a free service online. I need some of this action and want to have better ones. ;D

So... caugh up all you know about setting up forums for a noobie. It can deal with online services, setting something up at home, or whatever. I have broadband and can withstand the very light traffic my forums would sustain. Any and all information would be welcomed, just as long as everything is free, or atleast free after having the forum software. I don't have any domain or anything, so if set up at home I guess it would be by ip address.

    Nobody?

I have XP Pro with IIS installed. I've seen PhPBB forums, they're free, so that works for me. How would I set up windows to be a web server and how would I get the forums installed?

I don't know much, but just the basic things to get it up and running is all I'd need to know, I'd probably figure the rest out later, like tweeks or security, or I'd come back here.
