windows 2k logging off in standby mode.

The controler here for the company I work for is all of a sudden having problems with her Windows 2k box logging all the way out when going into standby mode. It shuts down all of her programs and looses any unsaved data.

Event log shows some CI errors that have to do with cleaning up come corrupt metadata, but nothing that seems serious.

Any ideas as to whats going on with this?

It seems the entire computer is rebooting when she goes into standby. We've turned off the indexing services to see if that keeps it from happening again. The Ci errors are coming from the indexing errors.

    stand by mode works horribly on PC's and it is hit and miss on laptops. My HP 9010 laptop will go into standby mode with 0 issues, where my desktop will not.
