Can We post EBAY LINKS?

Is it allowed to create threads describing an item for sale, and then post a link to ebay for it?

    I never actually thought of doing that. It is a good idea. If you want a quicker reponse i would send a pm to one of the moderators. Also post the response in this thread for the rest of us.

    Good of you to ask. You won't be banned. :) The stick at the top of this forum for the trading rules has your answer.

    You can, however, set a firm price here and link to the item as the description but we don't do auctions here. If you've got RAM, for example, on sale on EBAY but you'll take $$$ for it...then you could post the product, description and your price but that's the price you are asking for it direct.

    The ebay link could be used as "more information" but then ...what's the point as you've just posted all the info a buyer needs to know here.

    I suggest you just post the item for sale with a price. :)
