I have a Dell Optiplex GX1 500mhz P3 thats running Windows 2000 Professional. I haven't turned it on in a long time, and it was given to me. I can't quite remember the user name and password. I know i screwed something up a while back when trying to remove all the other accounts off the computer and just make it full open access. Is there a program or anything i can download to crack it and get into it??? PLEASE HELP!! Thanks so much!

    try administrator and blank password.

If not, time for a reinstall.

Take the sam file out of the system32 folder and crack it via lc5 on another box.

well i cant get into any folders because i cant log in!!

i'll try administrator and blank password, but i sort of doubt that will work- thnx

the only thing about a reinstall is that i dont have a win2000 pro disc, and i want to keep that on there!

    Piece of cake :D

The the program "NT Password" its a bootable utility that allows you to reset the admin password. I've used it muliple times and has been very useful when I am at work. Hope this helps.
