Video Card Decision

I am looking to upgrade my s*^t 9250 128mb to something with a more modern gpu. I am phased if to purchase 9600 pro 256mb or 5700LE 256mb. Or would it be benefical to go up to 9600XT 128mb or a 6600? Can u please leave ur thoughts and a short but sweet justification. Thanks alot :thumbsup:

    of the ones you listed i would get the 9600xt and you can get it for about $120. But what i would try and do is collect some more money and get the sapphire 9800pro for as low as $158(lite retail, or $153 for OEM) and has a 256-bit architecture(unlike the 9600xt which only has a 128bit)

    Get a cheep 9800pro or the 9600xt they will kill the 5700le.

    i third the nomination for a 9800 pro... If you can dig up an extra $20 - $30, it is a major upgrade from the other cards you listed.

    if you prefer ati, than those recommended. i would go w/ 6600gt over 9800
    pro.

    one note about the last post, the 6600 and 6600gt are different cards. the 6600 goes for $130? while the 6600gt is about $180. A 6600gt will be better than a 9800pro, but its also more expensive and by the cards you listed, that might be a concern to you.

    Thank you all you ATI fans for answering my call for help. As my budget is very tight i am favouring the 9600xt although i might be able to hang out a little longer to get the 9800 pro. Thanks for the help :thumbsup:

    Get a 9800pro, you won't regret it. Although here in the UK you can get a 6600gt for similar money & then I'd go for that.
