SM1 is down.

When I got home from work on Friday, I noticed that the SM1 had power, but there was no signal to the monitor. So I turned her off, then back on. Nothing...
I was able to test the power supply and video card in another computer just fine, so I am pretty sure it is the mobo. I was also reading that if there are no beep codes, then your mobo is pretty much dead.
On my way home tonight, I am going to pick a new mobo for her to see if that helps.
I will keep you guys updated.

Bummer.............why could it not have been a loose connection or something.
BTW: How is it that SM1 gets so many 600-Pointers?
Oh boy... It has been a while since I changed the settings on her, but I do believe I enabled BIG WUs, with the -advmethods flag.
Look at this week-by-week production:
Wow, that TBird is killing my XP1800@1800Mhz. How is that possible?
It has been using an old tbred. The tbird is sitting in my drawer having a party with some dust bunnies.
The damn SLK-800 was not sitting on the rubber feet, and when I took it off there were some horrible burn marks. I tried the chip in another computer and nothing.
The death toll has now risen to 2. 1 cpu and 1 mobo. :shakehead
Anyways, with a new mobo, a spare cpu, and a different hsf, she is great now.
What's that??? Are you picking your nose with your tongue?
Thanks for sorting that out so quick, t1
What are the new specs.
XP1600+ @ 10.5*133 (default)
Asus A7S8X-MX
everything else is the same as before.
I do believe the chip will run at 10.5*166 (~1743), but I am waiting for the system to settle in.
I'm in the process of updating the SMx Project page, and would really appreciate it.
Thanks, t1
The message is on it's way.
