kodak easyshare running at startup

i can`t stop kodak easyshare from running at startup. i uncheck the box beside it in msconfig, apply and restart the pc but it is still running and the check mark has returned to the box in startup. i'm running ms 98. thanks

    start the easy share program, and look in the options, and see if there is a check mark to take off for not enabling it to start on startup.

    Go download Hijackthis, then run it and remove the following two entries:

    O4 - Global Startup: Kodak EasyShare software.lnk = C:\Program Files\Kodak\Kodak EasyShare software\bin\EasyShare.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: Kodak software updater.lnk = C:\Program Files\Kodak\KODAK Software Updater\7288971\Program\Kodak Software Updater.exe
