Spy Ware taking over Lap top

Greetings to all!
I love this site just found it yesterday and both of my systems are running better already.
The problem I am having of course like most others here is spyware. I have always known about it but with everything I have read here for hours upon hours over the last two days I have realized just how deep this problem really is. I want to thank you all for your contributions to this site. I am not exactly a novice but don't wish to let a little bit of knowledge give me to much confidence thus messing up my system.
First of all both of my systems have been running slow. I scanned both with spycatcher a third party program offered by my home page comcast. It found some stuff on the laptop which I eliminated and my desk top had several ad ware, spyware trojans etc. The spycatcher software is not configured to remove LOP that is how I found this site. I used the omega killer and it worked great! thanks for that. The omega killer found nothing on the lap top but I have been convinced that something is in there for over a week now. I continued my research. Following the advice of the operators of this site and the many users I have run the ad aware and search and destroy programs. My attempts to download and save the CWshredder program continue to fail. I did down load and run instead. I have run the 2 scans several times (the first time one of them found 96 critical items) till they come back clean and performed the appropriate restarts as well. I am still not sure that I have fixed everything since my Hi jack this log shows several BHO's and file titled with the word "Search" or "search assistant" etc.
Could someone please review my hijack this log and advise me accordingly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's some leftovers in there, but I'm not seeing anything that would be slowing you down. However, you cut off the top portion of the log. Please post the entire log so I can make sure I'm seeing everything there is to see.

Sam I am sorry if I am causing more trouble but for some reason I couldn't find all the entries in your list. I couldn't figure out how to bring up the previous scan without it coming up as a notepad document. I ran a new scan I did my best with what was available.

Ok, Thanks!
I took care of step 1 not a problem.
Sam I can't seem to reboot into safe mode. F8 key doesn't work here as it does on my desktop! I read through help and they are saying to: click on "Shut Down" from my start menu then select "Restart" from a drop down menu. Then when the message "select the operating system" appear hit F8 and use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode. I don't have shut down on my start menu. :banghead:
This help is flawed in my opinion since they give the same set of instructions for "if you can't start windows"! I am looking everywhere inside the system and can't find the info I need.
I am sure there is another way and you would know it. What should I do?

Yes I am Sam.
However, when I bought this Lap Top from Best Buy I didn't realize at the time that I had paid for them to run an initial set up and they never mentioned it and nothing was ever done by them as far as configuration. Being my first new computer purchase of a system running windows that would access the internet I was a little naive at the time.
I did notice while in safe mode that a HJT scan on the administrators log on, those 2 items didn't show up. I restarted in safe mode again and chose my log on to complete the scan and fix the items suggested.
To answer your question spefically though my log on account is set up as an adiministrator.
