Spinners Ntfs tweak

Hey spinner.
I have been reading alot of your tweaks and trying some of them out. Thanks for the info.
I put the Ntfs tweak you talked about on page one of the tweaks on my lap top. In trying to do the same for my desktop system I couldn't find the exact same entry in my register. I have one similar though Ntfs Disable8dot3NameCreation with a value of (0). Is this the same thing? Should I attempt the same fix in this case or what?
Any help you could offer is appreciated, thanks.
