Desktop Problem

My computer was recently infected with spyware and it placed a large image over the desktop that I cannot remove. I can't find anymore traces of spyware. I've downloaded and used highjackthis, ad-aware, spybot, and CWS shredder. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

    Is it possible your desktop wallpaper got changed some how? If this is the case you can unchange it by right-clicking your desktop and select properties. Click the desktop tab. This window will allow you to change your desktop's backround image. You can select 'none' to have only a solid color as your background.

    If that's not the problem, you can post your HiJack This! log according to the instructions posted here: *How to use Hijack This to Generate a Log File
