edited April 2005 in Hardware
im finishing sleeveing my power supply and im putting back the plastic molex on the pins when i thought: Do the order the the black wires matter? I know the yellow on the left and the red on the right. But then there are 2 balck cables, does it matter which order thses go into? Im pretty sure they dont but then agian i dont know that much about power so...

I actually had the same thought after completing my sleving job on my old antec psu. I did not take any care to keep them matched up, and the system had no issues (thankfully) :mullet: . The grounds should all terminate to the same place in the psu, so It really shouldn't matter.

Black is ground. Ground is ground so don't worry about it.

One piece of advice based on years and years of PC maintenance.

Use somethig like plastic welder ( a plastic based epoxy) and put a drop or two on each wire of each molex.

Helps a ton. Best 3 bucks you will spend
