Hi all,
I recently installed this on a machine for a client, problem is that after about 10 mins into a flight the PC freezes - mouse keyboard everything. Only way out is to reset and reboot.

System is an AMD 1.8
onboard S3 graphics
PCI sound card with gameport - thrustmaster joystick attached and working ok.
DX9.0c
Windows XP SP2
256 MB RAM (32MB dedicated to onboard graphics)

I have downloaded the latest patch from MS Games
I have tried their config solutions. Nothing works
He bought this game for the graphics etc and doesnt want to fly in safe mode!

Is there a patch or a fix that I have missed or is it just a dud peice of software?

Any help would be appreciated

Siggy

It's a small marvel that the onboard S3 can even run the game. Try finding updated drivers for it.

Definitely look to getting a dedicated video card for that machine. Onboard graphics will choke on that game.
