CD - Drives

i have a problem, both my cd drives keep on unpluggin by themselves, and i cant seem to keep it "in"
like, ill try to burn a cd and right in the middle, 2 windows would come up saying that both my cd drives have been disconnected or unplugged, i would have to open up my computer, unplug it, replug it and then try the process all over again, only to get the same message

ive already tried to uninstall it, and i reinstall the drivers, still same problem?

any ideas??

    ok.. are the cables PHYSICALLY unplugging from the drive?? is is the IDE cable or molex power connector??

    yes they are physically plugged into the drive
    and i dont know the answer to ur second question

    so they are physically coming unplugged... ok are they getting pulled?

    look in the case for the ones that are coming out- is it the wide grey ribbon cable or the small white 4-pin cable?
