Images will not load!
Can anyone help please?
Some pages - made with flash technology - that once worked (they are still in my favourites) simply do not load the animations anymore. The page is still there but the image in it does not show at all, if I use IE 6.0. (ok, I am still using it, it's a bad habit, I know).
The status bar says "done", but no image there, only the frames. Tipically, one site is : http://www.designegg.com/insertmonkey/clock.html
B.T.W, these same sites work normally with Firefox.
Any tips, please?

I've done this many times, lowering the security levels, until SpywareBlaster one morning told me that I was under running under dangerous conditions and prompted me to recover the due settings.
Even when these were at the lowest, pages that work instantly with Firefox did not under IE.
Anyway, thanks for the tipping.
yes, I am always installing programs or updating them. But I did not change my pattern of computer life. And from night to day these .html or .htm pages started not to run. I've tried lowering security levels, to no avail, too.
Anyway tnx for the interest. And any tip will be gladly followed.
Do some basic maintenence stuff. i.e.: Run a Virus checker, delete some spyware, run scan disk, and let it defrag overnight.
If this does not repair the problem, then you need to reinstall IE. Unfortunately, this means reinstalling (or just repair-installing) Windows itself (stoopid bundling... :shakehead )
If you are okay with Firefox, and it seems to be working fine, then you might want to just give IE a miss, like most of us do. GrayFox is right, it's not a very good browser anyway, and the only thing that you really need it for is AUs.
I'm constantly making these steps in order to keep all running, defrag and all, so I think I will reinstall. Nothing else works in this particular issue.
And yes, I have already transferred my Favourites from IE to Firefox.
Keep the good work goin'!
Thanks for all the attention, guys.
