Anyone play the MP demo? It's not bad. It feels very halo-like. Kinda slow, less arcade-y than UT.
I think maybe I'll get it when it comes out. Hopefully it has a good story to go along with the decent graphics. I hope it's not a HL2 ripoff.
If you download the MP demo, I've been playing a lot lately. I'm "grrbles"

these games are even more fun
There are only two vehicles in the demo. A single man motorbike with a gun and a two man warthoggish sort of thing with machine guns and rocket launchers.
It's a fun game. Not too indepth, but the weapon upgrade system is sweet.
I really dug the graphics a lot, and the special effects are rad too! Like when a rocket hits the ground and explodes, a lot of dirt and debris goes flying around.
It felt a lot like I was playing an unreal mod or something though. A great game to jump in and play a few rounds of when you dont have a lot of time.
Personally I am not a huge fan of Unreal. I dont dislike it, and I do play it once in a while, but I was never very enthusiastic about it like I was about the Battlefield games. But I can definately see how UT fans could dig this game.
Also, the fall damage is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. I got hurt from walking down some stairs
Even tried Quake, but that had the sluggish feeling to it too. Then the new UT's came out, I swore they used the Quake engine in them because they felt the same.
...Huh?
I played the game it was pretty cool
I like the realism
It sucks.
The multiplayer is alright, but the single player is just so.... bleh.
unoriginal, poor voice acting, and a totally nebulous and confusing storyline. You never quite know what's going on. The story is pretty much pointless. You just shoot your way through and end up not paying attention. The script writer must have been a kid or something - they got a thrill from using lots of "f words" and other swearing - so much so that it seems totally contrived, like "look, we're swearing cause we can". It's really stupid.
The game is interesting only for the purpose of having a fresh new single player FPS to play through. Some of the weapons are fun, but there's just not enough game there to keep my interest. I beat it in two days.
If you can find it for $10, it might be worth it for the multiplayer (i still have fun with the multiplayer, but it's no different from halo or UT). Otherwise, stay away from this stinker.
That's my mini-review for the week
This is not the complete article - just some highlights
"Pariah, finally a case of truth in advertising.
It takes a great deal of moxie to give your game a title that has negative connotations. And lets face it "Pariah" doen't excatly fill you with confidence, does it? Admittedly, it is not as bad as being named "Steaming Pile" but even so, surrounded by the games such as "Unreal", it does look a little pessamistic.
With good reason, it turns out. The primary complaint lies with the Pariah's engine. It's modern version of the Unreal engine - a commonly used graphic powerhouse, with a great deal of scalability across different specs. But in the case of Pariah, the designers we obviously so impressed with the look of Unreal2004 they didn't really spend much time altering things. So the terrain looks spookily similiar to UT2004, whilst the characters look different, only worse...Ouch.
So perhaps the playing style is different? Well, it is, but not in a good way - it's actually slower than the game that inspired it and the netcode, so critical is fast-action shooters, is poor too. Weapons lack impact, and half the time online you won't know if it's your aim, the game or merely the dodgy weapons that are so crapulent.
Couple this with a story line that jumps more than a crusty demon nad you have a recipe for a big fat mess. Appartently your a doctor whose screw-ups have seen him assigned as a nurse to a virus-laden patient due for transportation. When your transport gets shot down, your charge heads for the hills, with you in hot pursuit. And that's about the point where logic surrentders to the cruel mistress that is the game development pragmatism and tough deadlines.
Pariah's action sequencing isn't aided by the fact that it's also a console release title. Too many compromises have had to be made in the way the game unfolds, along with it's derivitive look and dodgy execution, to make it worthy of anything more than a bargain bin purchase at best"
Upsides: If you haven't spent money on it, that's good......
Downsides: ... if you have, that's bad.
