Hello,

I read today that current 939 Motherboards will support the upcoming Dual core CPUs. I don't know about you guys but I am stoked about this!

Next thing we need is nVidia to announce that their nforce4-SLI chipsets will support Dual Core. Things are looking up for me and the dual core movement.

Later,
The Rug

I've heard informally that Nforce 3/4 will support Dual Core chips on the 939 platform.

    Exciting stuff :buck:

All you will need is a BIOS update and it should work. They fit the same power specs as a single core Opteron.

The nForce 3 and 4 do support dual core chips. As stated, all they need is a BIOS update.
