GameSpy has an exclusive look at the upcoming Age of Empires III PC title.

For the sequel, Age III's designers opted to focus on the colonial era, from around 1500 (shortly after Columbus 'discovered' America) to the era before the American Civil War. This time period picks up right where Age of Kings left off, and it brings a lot of cool elements to the table: exploration of the New World, interaction with the natives, the French & Indian War, the War for American Independence, the creation of railroads and the industrial revolution ... Not to mention muskets! Cannons! Redcoats!
I'm drooling at the mouth. November seems such a long way away.

    I agree this one is going to rock! I just wish they showed a little more of the actual UI. That would give us more insight to what the game will be like, but I guess we'll just have to wait.
