Just wanted to show my etched window and ask what you guys think of it...

here is it with a flash, so no glow...

and here with no flash, we can see some light from it.

the amber layer is not showing good, but the blue one seams OK.
In real life they are both as bright at full luminosity.

how do you guys like it?

I don't like the look of the guy, but I think it's a really neat idea. I like it.

I like the angle of the guy, looks like he is falling backwards to me. I like it myself.

I don't like the idea either, but it does look quite good.

    thanks guys.

the "guy" is representing a spaceman. thus the lack of face and puffy wrinkled clothes. The 2nd layer (amber) represent glowspots... light source within the reach of the astroguy.

Being in space, he floats, thus the "falling effect" clutch liked.

I'm pretty much into aerospace, and I liked the image... sorry if you dislike.

this said, the etching did the result I wanted, and I'm proud of it... wasn't sure my dremel could bring me a nice result like it.

here is the original image I used to perform the etch

hey GW! long time no seen!

    yep, wirecleaning is about time...

I plan on rounding some cables (can't afford 10$ cables when I have tons lying in a drawer...) and putting some looms to this PSU.
then my airflow should be a little better... hopefully.

I used a broken micro-bit (used in PCB hole-drilling) on my dremel.

As for a guide or how/to... i'm guidewriter at modasylum.com so it will come as part of a bigger guide within 2 month (if all is good)

I had not seen that etching. Very nice.

You need a wire job in there quick! Ribbon cables wow. The wires took away from your etching. I liked your last etching better.

Hey Mars mod me an alien head window.

I have custom made round cables, and sleeving for the PSU stuff and others... still some job to do on the smaller wires (PC speaker, switches, etc) but it looks hella better

thanks for the comments. its appreciated :)
