help with smitfraud aftermath

I seemed to have cleared up my smitfraud trojan. I got rid of the blue screen of death and appeared to have cleaned up the system. Problem I have now is the black desktop. My display properties only has two tabs in it and I cant add any wallpaper or themes. Any ideas.....besides doing a complete re-install????????? :confused:

    We can restore your desktop with a reg file, but first we must make sure that the infection is completely gone. Please post a hijackthis log.
