cheaper items or as is?

how can i trim this down or what can i substitute in order to have a more cheaper but quality items... so far i am confused how to make this setup cheaper.... heres the setup:


Athlon 64 2800+ boxed<(what is it?) $117
MSI K8NNEO-FSR $92
512mb of ram changed to 256mb $20
MX440 128bit tv-out $43.75
Seagate Barracuda 80g Sata $68.75
Giant 17" crt $81
cd w/writer $26
casing $25
floppy/kboard/mouse $16


*note that the price is from here in Manila pretty expensive.. just convert it to dollars...

    You could cut that down to a Sempron 3100+ instead of the Athlon 2800+. I don't know what that would save you over there, but it probably is something.

    I would stick with 512MB RAM if in any way possible - 256 just isn't going to be satisfactory.

    AMD Sempron 3100+ s754 here is more expensive than the Athlon 2800+ s754... :confused:
