Dual Channel Ram?

edited May 2005 in Hardware
Hi, im getting a new motherboard soon, but not at this time, the new motherboard supports dual channel ram, but my one i have currently doesnt. I was wandering, if i was to buy dual channel ram for my new mobo, will it work in my motherboard i have now, just, wont be using the dual channel feature? Or do i have to buy regular ram without dual channeling for this motherboard and then buy dual channel for my new one. Because i want dual in my new board.

Thanks,
Flamez
