Hotmail,virus,spams (alot)
Greetings all,
I wish to ask a question what i should do or use to solve this, recently i have gotten immense loads of mails which actually gotten my hotmail full to 70% and over where hotmail has sent their msg about the account reaching it's maximum storage, also i haven't thought of making a screenshot or make notes of those spams to help u guys what the potential trojan/virus/ or whatever it is could, but i'm sure that i will get some loads after this post.
For my other question, what programs could i use that probably could help fight these hotmail / e-mail virus spammers ( obviously i have something and i spam or mail to others and i get spamms back from all of them overloading my hotmail )
if u guys need to know something, then tell me what i could or should do i'd gladly do so.
( Maybe a similar post has taken place already somewhere but i haven't found it )
My thx in advance,
Ginh.

Actually, the most common cause of this is that you posted your email address somewhere and spam bots are picking it up. Your email address may be posted on a website (even your own), or maybe a message board where you asked someone to email you a file or help. It may even be coming from a profile you have on a website. You may have spyware on your computer, but it is most likely not the cause of this. If you would like us to check your computer, please download HijackThis and post a log.
For Hotmail, there is no software that will block spam, as it is webmail. If you used POP3 email (like Outlook Express) there is software to block spam from that. In Hotmail the most you can do is block the addresses that send you spam.
