At the end of my thether - Search Extender/Shopping Wizard

I am just about ready to launch this PC through the window after many failed attempts to rid myself of this hijacker! Anyone there who would be able to cast their trained eye over my Hijackthis log, any advice will be very gratefully received. For info I've ran Adaware, Spybot (all latest versions/updates) and Hsremove but still getting the usual home page as "about blank" and various suspicious files in my running processes which keep mutating into different file names. Anyway here's my log, hope I've done it right as it's the first time I've used it.

Please download CWShredder but don't run it yet.

    Download Ad-aware SE 1.05
Install the program and launch it. First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files. Exit Adaware for now.

Make sure that you can VIEW ALL HIDDEN FILES.

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

Navigate to the C:\Windows\Prefetch folder. Open the Prefetch folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Prefetch folder.

Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box. The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.

Yes, it's still there. I'm going to post a new fix. Some of these tools you already have.

You have an HSA infection. The filenames on this type of infection can change each time you reboot your computer or use Internet Explorer. With that in mind some of these filenames may be different. But the pattern is the same and you may be able to determine the correct files to remove. The sooner you perform this fix, the higher it's chances for success.

    Step 1
Download CWShredder but don't run it yet.

    Step 2
    Download AboutBuster
Unzip it to your desktop but don't run it yet.

    Step 3
    Download Ad-aware SE 1.05
Install the program and launch it. First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files. Exit Adaware for now.

    Step 5
Make sure that you can VIEW ALL HIDDEN FILES.

    Step 6
Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.
