It seems even Tony Blair isn't immune to the effects of cyba crime, as a low-risk worm decided to try and launch a denial of service attack on his Downing Street website.
The worm, dubbed W32/Quaters-A, spreads via e-mail using a variety of subject lines and by Internet chat systems posing as an attempt to break a chain mail world record, Sophos said in a statement on its Web site Thursday.

When activated, the worm overwrites files on the victim's computer with the text "Infected by the WIN32.SORT-IT-OUT-BLAIR Virus!" and can display a message attacking Blair and accusing him of wasting money on immigrants instead of spending it on education or the British heath system, according to Sophos.
