If you have not done so please make sure that all files and folders are accessable. Instructions can be found here:http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14915

Then get adaware se and spybot s&d. These can be found at:http://majorgeeks.com/downloads31.htm. Make sure the programs are updated with the latest definition files.

Boot up in safe mode. At start up tap the f8 button. Run these programs while in safe mode.

    Reboot back into normal mode.

    Run these online scans:
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
    http://housecall60.trendmicro.com/en/start_corp.asp?id=scan

When you are finished please post a new log.

I see that a majority of your friend's issues are stemmed from the Kazaa program. These types of p2p programs will continue to cause him issues as long as he has it in his system.

Before deleting any the following items in Hijack This please boot up in safe mode and access the add/remove programs list. Uninstall wintools and any unwanted toolbars(toolbars can also cause spyware problems). You will still need to run those online scans as soon as possible. Also run spybot and adaware while in safe mode.

Go ahead and delete these entries:
