Best driver(s) for Medieval: Total War
Hi, fellers:
I am writing on behalf of a friend who is having problems running this game using an 32 MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra video card and a "SoundBlaster with 5.1 support, though apparently not version 5.1 as the drivers available for that didn't recognize the card as valid." He has all the resources the game calls for and is running on Win XP, and the makers of the sound and video cards don't offer support anymore for the hardware. I have used the very same video card and have the software for it (haven't been able to test it because we're miles apart), but does anyone have experience with this particular problem and perhaps direct us to the best drivers for the cards?
