Cheap and fast drives, sata 2 enabled

Hitachi have released a line with Sata 2 drives and i recently got a pair of 7K80, 80 GB harddrives for about $50 each. They also have a tool that you need to enable 300mb/s support and also to enable spectrum clocking.

This is the initial Atto benchmark with what i think, not so good sata bios and sata drivers. I think there's still a lot more to get here.

    Nope I think you pretty much got what your gonna get unless you bump the writes a little bit.

    Those are 60k atto drives. 60k x 2 = 120,000 in raid-0 on atto.
