Cherry OS Throw In The Towel

In possibly the least surprising piece of news to come out of the software world for quite some time, the developers of the CherryOS emulator have thrown in the towel. The system claimed to emulate Mac OS X on a PC but it eventually came to light that the software was nothing more than a simple loader and mild repackage of the open-source PearPC project.

CherryOS' website has disappeared, and there's no mention of the project on the site of Maui X-Stream, the Hawaii-based company behind it. They had previously claimed it was going to go open source, having initially been launched as s $50 paid-for product.
Oh well.
