Nec 3500 Problems

Need some firmware, cant find ANY


Whenever it is plugged in (its the master) and I have my Lite On CD RW plugged in too, there is problems (computer SLOWS down, discs wont read etc have to take discs out)

when they are plugged in SEPERATELY, no problems



Ideas?

    Is the LiteOn set to slave?

    yep, and its on a different IDE cable (not that it makes any difference as when they are on the same one they dont work unless one of them is not powered on)
