*Help with Paint*

edited May 2005 in Science & Tech
Hello everyone I am having a problem with Microsoft Paint. Every time I try to open it, an error messages comes up saying: 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application'.

Does anyone know how I can fix it or download a new copy or a similar piece of software? Appreciate any suggestions.

im pretty sure thats a memory problem. download and run memtest86 (http://memtest86.com/) and let is pass 4 times (thats what everyone recommends).

also, have you tried just restarting??
