New Computer Running Mysteriously Slow
I just got a new computer and it's unbelievably slow. It's hardly been used for anything but email so I find it hard to believe that it would have a virus already. However, here is the logfile. If this is a problem that belongs in a different forum, let me know. thanks. P.S. It is a Dell, 30 GB, windows XP, uses AOL 9.0 Optimized SE "top speed technology"-my butt. This thing is a slow as molasses. Any help would be great. thanks.

If you mean that the internet is slow, that would be why. I have always hated AOL since I tried to use a friend's computer and it took 30 minutes to load a web page (back in the 6.0 days).
I do see some spyware in your log, but nothing that would cause major slowdowns. It may help a little bit though.
