Season's First 9/11 Anniversary Worm Appears

It has been reported that the first of this season's 9/11 anniversary worms has appeared on the radar scope of security firms this week.
W32/Neroma@MM or Worm/Icebut.A typically displays 'Nice butt, baby!' in the carrying e-mails message body and shows 'It's Near 911!' in the subject heading. If the attached file is executed, the worm will be let loose on the infected system and promptly try and delete files last modified on the 1st, 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, 20th, 24th and 29th day of each month. The worm of course also has the ability to mail itself to all the people in the infected machines Outloook address book.
The worm has been characterized as only a minor threat, but Anti-virus companies are still urging users to update their definition files to protect themselves.
