MP3 Renaming Utility

Hey guys I have a quick question.

Way back when IC forums were alive (pre-short media era) I asked everyone what they used to rename their MP3s. One of the utils that someone suggested was really awesome and I loved it. I think EvilMathNinja or Frink originally suggested it to me but I know they don't lurk around here so that is why I ask you! :D

Since then I have reformatted about 20 times and I can't find a good MP3 renaming/tagging program anywhere. I am going to have more time over the summer and want to rename and retag some of my collection.

So what do you use to keep you MP3s tagged and organized?

Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

cheers

I use ID3 TagIt. Works fine for my needs. Rename the file name according to the id3 tag or vice versa. Mass ID3 tag editing, stuff like that.

    Zortam.

It allows you to name your ID3s via file name, rename the file via ID3, synch ID3-1/ID3-2, and much, much more.

Thanks Blackhawk, that is the util I was talking about. :D Although I will take a peek at the one Thrax suggested too.

I was trying out the over rated Tag & Rename and frankly I think it sucks, it is overly complicated compared to ID3 TagIt.

    Thanks again :mullet:

currently i use ID3-TagIT3 but i also have used GodFather in the past. both are good programs but i find id3-tagIt deals beter with id3 tags than GodFather.
