Windows Update help --- minimum security, URGENT!
Hey everyone,
I am using Windows 98, and for this, i dont have internet explorer 6.0 yet. To install the updates for McAfee and MSN Messenger and a lot of other programs, i am expected to install IE 6.0. When i try to install it, a windows box warning pops up and warns me that another windows update has not been terminated, and that i should reboot my system. I have restarted my computer a lot of times, but the box always comes up, as if nothing had changed. I am down to 60% of McAfee protection, and therefore i need quickly help with fixing this problem. I have no idea what it might be, maybe a virus or a trojan horse. PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you. Sergio.
