Wife's Laptop Crashing - She has no E-Mail Fix. so V. Tetchy - Pls. Help!

My wife's laptop was badly infested about three weeks ago. It began crashing. Hardware was given a clean bill of health and we began running it on a USB fan platform. We've run a full cocktail of malware but it still crashes unpredictably and in a way that sounds like something is commanding the shutdown. It seems particularly prone to failure when we run Ad-Aware or AboutBuster. We usually have to run these programmes two or three times to get a full cycle. If we sound paranoid sorry but we sure could use some help.

Here are the various logs:

Your log is clean. Check your fan. Could be an overheating problem.

Have you run any of the online virus scans? If not, they may point something out that we can look at.

Please run at least two of these online scans.
Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

    Panda Virus Scan

    Bit Defender

    TrendMicro Housecall

There will be files that these scans will not remove. Please include that information in your next post.

Reboot and post a new hijackthis log and the info from your virus scans.
