Tech Report has an interesting article up about the new AGP Radeons and how AGP isn't dead yet.

View: ATI's New AGP Radeons
The first and perhaps most interesting addition to ATI's AGP lineup is the Radeon X800 XL. The X800 XL has already proven itself a potent performer for PCI Express, so we're happy to see it migrating to AGP. What makes the X800 XL particularly interesting is the fact that its graphics chip is built using 0.11-micron fabrication technology.
...
Interestingly, Half-Life 2 shows some separation between AGP and PCI Express flavors of the Radeon X800 XL, although neither one is a clear winner. Keep in mind that our AGP and PCI Express cards are running on different motherboards with different core logic chipsets, so the platform differences extend beyond the graphics card.

ATI for the new stuff is just 2 expensive. Nvidia is offering some solid performers at a darn good cost. Looks like im moving back to that camp next month.
