Source: Tech ReportThe first and perhaps most interesting addition to ATI's AGP lineup is the Radeon X800 XL. The X800 XL has already proven itself a potent performer for PCI Express, so we're happy to see it migrating to AGP. Interestingly, Half-Life 2 shows some separation between AGP and PCI Express flavors of the Radeon X800 XL, although neither one is a clear winner. Keep in mind that our AGP and PCI Express cards are running on different motherboards with different core logic chipsets, so the platform differences extend beyond the graphics card.
