Nail.exe, I need help like everyone else.
Hi SVT team, I've looked through the various threads about nail.exe and the aurora problems(bugs) and The aurora problem i was able to get rid of but of course through their way (mypctuneup.com). At any rate.. checking ad-aware, i noticed that something kept on giving me the message "Registry Modification Detected". Yes, that would be the c/windows/nail.exe file.
I don't see how I would find the solutions to my particular problem as everyone elses logs are so different. I couldn't find anything similar that I would be able to do, though I did try a few, no luck of course.
I've run ad-aware w/ most current update and also spy bot. here is my log to HJT so hopefully someone can help me when you can. I'm not sure if everyone else that has encountered this problem has had the same effects of this nail.exe file. I am currently encountering a lot of lag in terms of my programs when I start them up and also when I'm starting IE or jumping back and forth through websites.
One other thing I read in another post was the CPU usage. Is the system Idle CPU usage suppose to be in the 90's? I don't really see it going below 90 at all. Thanks in advance for all your help SVT team!!

I don't see any signs of malware in your log. There's no signs of a nail.exe infection. That doesn't mean it's not there, but it's not showing up right now in your log.
Please run at least two of these online scans.
Make sure they are set to clean automatically:
Panda Virus Scan
Bit Defender
TrendMicro Housecall
There will be files that these scans will not remove. Please include that information in your next post.
Reboot and post a new hijackthis log and the info from your virus scans.
