Firewire External HDD enclosure problem
Hi,
I got this 3.5" HDD Combo External Enclosure with Western Digital 200GB HD. This box has 2 Firewire and 1 USB 2.0 plugs. I`m using Windows XP Home. The problem is when I`m working with the Firewire (I tried them both) while copying file into the HD it get stuck, and after few seconds I get a system error from Windows saying the harware error, and the HD gets disconnected. Note that with the USB 2 port it works perfect.
Please help me!!! I dont know what to do, and I want to work with the firewire since I got laptop, and all my USB plugs are used, and the firewire should work, I paid for it...
Notes:
1. I assume my Firewire port is good because I use it to connect my iPod.
2. The box is from ViPower, model VP-92589 (www.vipower.com)
