can't disable/delete "loadnew.exe"
My laptop tried to load this "loadnew.exe" program which showed the following:
ms-its.mhtml.file//C:osuch.mht!http://81.222.131.59/dl/adv561/x.chm::/x.htm
as its source. My Mcafee security program would not let it load but I can
not remove it from the laptop nor shut it the (.exe pgm) down. :bawling:
Any help on how I can get rid of it now that it is there? This old laptop
is running windows 98 and doesn't get used very often. OK, I need to
install my newest security/virus scan pgm - I know.
But what now until I can do that? - like right after I get rid of this thing.
