XURON 55 request

Hello,
I installed verizon DSL for my friend. Tech support tells me that there is something in her computer that is forcing the pages to redirect to a login page which does not allow her to logon. I downloaded spybot. Was given the notification of Xuron 55. After reading postings here, I downloaded hijackthis and am hoping you can help me get this fixed before I return cross country.

Thank you so much,
liberrylady

I am pasting in the log:

What page do you get redirected to? Is it this page?

    Hi,
Elizabeth IS able to sign in to her verizon webmail acct but is unable to sign into any other features on verizon. She keeps being directed/redirected to a page which is a sign in page, requiring her full email and password. When she puts those in, she receives the message that the login in is incorrect. So, basically, she can use the webmail and no other verizon features, such as customized home page or access to "my account", etc.

Thank you very much for helping me,
    Susan

Is the page she's redirected to a verizon page?

This doesn't sound like a malware issue. The hijackthis log that you posted is clean.

Looks to be a verizon page. Thank you for checking this out. Should I worry about the Xuron 55 notification from Spybot?

Only if Spybot had trouble removing it. If it's gone then you have nothing to worry about.
