Coolweb and IOSDT
Hi everyone!
So I've had a couple of problems with my system for a while now. This is what happens when I let my sister use the computer. The first one is spyware that I cannot get rid of. I've tried about 8 different programs, including Ad-aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, Spy Sweeper and HijackThis. They all give me different info about what the adware is. Here is what I have determined, however:
It is some sort of variant of CoolWebSearch, but CWShredder didn't find it. It seems to know exactly when I do NOT want ads to pop up, and I lost a key match of starcraft because my system crashed last night! It pops these ads up in internet explorer, which i never use.

The next problem doesn't really belong in this forum, but i figure I've got my log info up here already so I might as well give it a shot. If I'm out of line, i'll try the other forum. I have a trojan virus that manifested itself in a file called IOSDT.exe which loaded at every boot. I have deleted the file, but the folder remains and all the registry values (dnetc and distributed.net) cannot be deleted. Spy Sweeper tells me that I have a trojan named nordom@distributed.net, but it only identifies the folder c:\windows\system32\iosdt, which contains nothing.
I can usually deal with this kind of problem myself, but I accidentally killed the internet last time i tried, and i need the internet. Any advice you could give would be invaluable!

Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.
Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, please run SpSeHjfix.bat. Click "Start Disinfection" and follow the prompts. Allow your computer to reboot when required. Post the logfile from the tool here for me when done. Also post a new hijackthis log.
