shut off auto-dissconnect

this is not for me but to help my friend. he has cable for hsi internet service and it auto shuts off internet if hes afk from computer so if he has a torrent or that going then it shuts down internet when hes away and then he has restart it which is really annoying. and lately his internet has been like auto-dissconnting on him even when hes using it like usign temapseak or that. anyone know how to turn auto-dissconnect off?
