Please download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Ewido trojan scanner:
    1. When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
    2. When you run ewido for the first time, you will get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK. We will fix this in a moment.
    3. From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
    4. After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful"), click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click on the Start button. This scan can take quite a while to run, so time to go get a drink and a snack....
    5. If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.
    6. When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file. Please then paste the contents of the text file to this thread, along with a new HijackThis log.

    Thanks alot Buckeye_Sam.

The first time I did the scan with ewido it stoped when the scan reached 80% and the window disapeared, then I did the scan for the 2nd time and it went ok but at the end I got msg saying that to complete the scan I should reboot my pc,though the scan finished this time and I got the report you asked "I wonder if its something normal!!"

    Here you are the "HijackThis"

I have noticed something else in my Microsoft Explorer it's written up where it's only suppose to be Microsoft Internet Explorer it's Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Tarek Nour Communications I don't know what is that T. N. Com. and I wonder where it came from.
This is probably your ISP. Typically they insert this into your Internet Explorer, but you can easily remove it just by fixing that line with Hijackthis.

    We're getting there.

Place a checkmark next to these entries, close all browsers and windows, and have HijackThis fix them by clicking Fix Checked:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Window Title = Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Tarek Nour Communications
    F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,C:\Windo ws\System32\wsaupdater.exe,
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ayxwdf] c:\windows\system32\zgpuxyb.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
    O8 - Extra context menu item: Web Rebates - file://C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates\Sy1150\Tp1150\scri1150a.htm
    O16 - DPF: {8522F9B3-38C5-4AA4-AE40-7401F1BBC851} - http://banners.driving4dollars.com/...00/99930082.cab

Reboot your computer into SAFE MODE

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist):

    C:\Windows\System32\wsaupdater.exe
    c:\windows\system32\zgpuxyb.exe
    C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.

I did the fix checked step, but I couldn't find the last one which is the URL add. so it wasn't deleted !!

I rebooted the computer and couldn't find any of the files or directors listed above, when I got back to Normal mode and clicked on my DSL connection I got a msg access denied can't find Address Book and the 2nd time error can't find dial  !!!!! but my DSL is working

Microsoft window is back to its normal w/o the T.N.Com..
    Thanks alot :)

and here you are the Log:

Your log looks clean but it sounds like something is still there.

Please run at least two of these online scans.
Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

    Panda Virus Scan

    Bit Defender

    TrendMicro Housecall

There will be files that these scans will not remove. Please include that information in your next post.

Reboot and post a new hijackthis log and the info from your virus scans.

Well I sure missed that one.

You may want to print out or make a copy of these instructions before starting, because you will not be able to connect to the internet during most of this fix.

    Step 1
Please download and install Cleanup 4.0, but do not run it yet.

    Step 2
Please download the Nail/Aurora Spyware Fix from NoIdea.US. (Alternate download link: dknoppix mirror)
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run yet.

    Step 3
Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

    Step 4
Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:
How to see hidden files in Windows

    Step 5
Please double-click on nailfix.cmd that you unzipped earlier. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

    Step 6
Run CleanUp 4.0 that you installed earlier.

    Step 7
Run a full scan with Ewido, remove anything found, and then restart into normal mode and post the logfile from the scan for me.

    Step 8
Now open up Hijackthis. Place a checkmark next to these entries, close all browsers and windows, and have HijackThis fix them by clicking Fix Checked:

    F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
    O16 - DPF: {205FF73B-CA67-11D5-99DD-444553540006} (CInstall Class) - http://www.errorguard.com/installation/Install.cab

    Step 9
Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist):

    C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
    C:\Program Files\WindowsSA
    C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates
    C:\Program Files\WindUpdates
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\BridgeX.inf
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\Install.inf
    C:\WINDOWS\GatorPdpLoudInstaller.log
    C:\WINDOWS\inf\dlmax.inf
    C:\WINDOWS\inf\farmmext.inf
    C:\WINDOWS\inf\twaintec.inf
    C:\WINDOWS\Key2.txt
    C:\WINDOWS\twaintec.ini

Restart your computer and please post a new HijackThis log and the Ewido log.

and I get another window as well when the pc is turned on which is Sony UPnP Framwork which says
Sony UpnP Framwork has encounted a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience. and after that I get the options with send error report wo windows and the don't send one..

when i click on the send option it opens a page which says somthing like nothing can be done toward this Pb !!!

    Description:
tgcmd.exe is a process associated with an online support software from SupportSoft. It is often used for on-line support by large manufacturers like Sony and Toshiba.

To fix the Sony error you can do one of two things. You can reinstall the program that is causing the error. I assume you have a disc with backup installation files.

Or you can fix this line with Hijackthis to stop that program from automatically loading and those errors should stop for you.

Your hijackthis log looks clean. How do things feel on your end?

Now that you are clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:
    1. Disable and Enable System Restore. - If you are using Windows ME or XP then you should disable and reenable system restore to make sure there are no infected files found in a restore point left over from what we have just cleaned.

You can find instructions on how to enable and reenable system restore here:

      Managing Windows Millenium System Restore

      or

      Windows XP System Restore Guide

Renable system restore with instructions from tutorial above

    2. Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This can be done by following these simple instructions:
      1. From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
      2. Click once on the Security tab
      3. Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
      4. Click once on the Custom Level button.
        1. Change the Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt
        2. Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable
        3. Change the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable
        4. Change the Installation of desktop items to Prompt
        5. Change the Launching programs and files in an IFRAME to Prompt
        6. Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to Prompt
        7. When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
        8. If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
      5. Next press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Properties page.

    3. Use an AntiVirus Software - It is very important that your computer has an anti-virus software running on your machine. This alone can save you a lot of trouble with malware in the future.

See this link for a listing of some online & their stand-alone antivirus programs:

Virus, Spyware, and Malware Protection and Removal Resources

    4. Update your AntiVirus Software - It is imperitive that you update your Antivirus software at least once a week (Even more if you wish). If you do not update your antivirus software then it will not be able to catch any of the new variants that may come out.

    5. Use a Firewall - I can not stress how important it is that you use a Firewall on your computer. Without a firewall your computer is succeptible to being hacked and taken over. I am very serious about this and see it happen almost every day with my clients. Simply using a Firewall in its default configuration can lower your risk greatly.

For a tutorial on Firewalls and a listing of some available ones see the link below:

      Understanding and Using Firewalls

    6. Visit Microsoft's Windows Update Site Frequently - It is important that you visit http://www.windowsupdate.com regularly. This will ensure your computer has always the latest security updates available installed on your computer. If there are new updates to install, install them immediately, reboot your computer, and revisit the site until there are no more critical updates.

    7. Install Spybot - Search and Destroy - Install and download Spybot - Search and Destroy with its TeaTimer option. This will provide realtime spyware & hijacker protection on your computer alongside your virus protection. You should also scan your computer with program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software.

A tutorial on installing & using this product can be found here:

Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware , Malware, and Hijackers

    8. Install Ad-Aware - Install and download Ad-Aware. ou should also scan your computer with program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software in conjunction with Spybot.

A tutorial on installing & using this product can be found here:

Using Ad-aware to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer

    9. Install SpywareBlaster - SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs.

A tutorial on installing & using this product can be found here:

Using SpywareBlaster to protect your computer from Spyware and Malware

    10. Update all these programs regularly - Make sure you update all the programs I have listed regularly. Without regular updates you WILL NOT be protected when new malicious programs are released.
Follow this list and your potential for being infected again will reduce dramatically.

If it is already disabled then all you need to do is enable it and set a new restore point.

Your log now looks clean. That error may be caused by Spyware Doctor. Check the settings in the program and adjust them so the program doesn't load automatically at start up. If you can't find that option you can fix this line with hijackthis.

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Doctor] "C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\swdoctor.exe" /Q

Let me know if that solves the error problem. Are you having any other issues?

    Glad to hear it!

    :)
