    That was my last post. No posts have been removed.

    I'm confused why this didn't work for you. Can you double check that registry entry to make sure that the value is changed to 0 ?


    Another option(if you have your Windows disc) is this:

    Click Start -> Run -> (type) sfc /scannow

    This will search for corrupted or missing files and replace them from your disc.

    Yes the registry entry has changed to 0 but still getting the same message Setup has detcted an newer version message.

    Sorry have no disc.

    Run Hijackthis. Click on "Open the Misc Tools section". Next click on "Open uninstall manager".
    Press the button 'save list'. It will open a Notepad file. Place the content of that file here in your in your next post.

    Uninstall both of these programs.

    iPod for Windows 2005-03-23
    iTunes



    Reboot your computer and then reinstall them. Let me know if that resolves your problem.

    First one
