Though not intended for consumers, Mozilla has issued the first Deer Park Alpha release that represents preliminary works towards the next-generation version 1.1 of the Firefox open source web browser.
Deer Park Alpha 1 is now available. Deer Park Alpha 1 is an alpha release of our next generation Firefox browser and it is being made available for testing purposes only for developers and the testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x should not download or use Deer Park Alpha 1.

bah dont sweat it. Ive been using it since yesterday. For the most part no real problems. I like the way the options and other settings menus have been redesigned.

pretty slick if you ask me.

Yep. I d/led it yesterday. It installs in separate directory from Firefox and along side it. Strangely though if you click a Firefox shortcut while Deer Park is running, it opens a second instance of Deer Park rather than Firefox and vice versa. Gobbles, do you have the same experiences or did you uninstall Firefox 1.0.4 before installing Deer Park Alpha 1? What are others folks experiences?
