OLD Floppy Format

I have a Floppy disk of pictures from a long time ago, but when I try to open the floppy it tells me that I need tof ormat the disk. I am guessing it could be some format Windows 2000 may not recognize, but I figured it's just a FAT file system. Any ideas?

Chances are the disk is shot, unless it's a mac HFS formatted disk. There is no PC format that win2k couldn't understand.

The only thing I could suggest is if there's even a remote possibility that the disk was mac formatted, you can try a 30 day trial of MacDrive 6 from mediafour.

OK it's gone, thanks. This sucks, had some real nice pictures from Colorado about 8 years ago.

You obviously know this now but man... a floppy is the worst thing in the world to keep something on. Only slightly better then writing them in a bowl of jello.
