Compadibility Mode

I am trying to get an OLD game of mine to run in Windows 2000 Pro, but when I right click on the shortcut there is no compadibility mode stuff. Last I knew it was always there, but I haven't run Windows 2000 in quite a while so I may be forgetting something.

I would just run the game on XP, but it won't work on XP. The last time I played this game it would only run on W2k and never on XP for whatever stupid reason.

So where's my compadibility mode?

BTW, the game in question is Mech Warrior 2: The Titanium Edition, I am trying to kind of rebuild the game on a more up to date game engine. :D

I did a google search as well, and found a different site saying the same thing. But both are telling me that the specified DLL could no be found.

The command on that page is incorrect. I searched for the file manually, and here is the proper thing to type--

    regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

Unfortunatly that didn't work, dunno why it worked for me before. But as i am finding on the web it seems it takes a lot for it to work under XP or 2000. Yet I managed to do it a year ago or so.
