Your log is clean. You may have a hardware problem. Check out your monitor or your graphics card. It doesn't appear to be related to malware.
  • edited June 2005
I'm almost certain its not a hardware problem, everything is perfect except the desktop wallpaper, which instead of setting to what I choose it to be,changes each second-but the icons on the desktop and windows taskbar are normal. Please suggest an alternate solution

Please run at least two of these online scans.
Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

    Panda Virus Scan

    Bit Defender

    TrendMicro Housecall

There will be files that these scans will not remove. Please include that information in your next post.

Reboot and post a new hijackthis log and the info from your virus scans.

Please download, install, and run Cleanup 4.0
    http://cleanup.stevengould.org/

    Now delete these files:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Firoz\My Documents\Firoz's Documents\Downloads\Programs\WormsFortsSetup-dm.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\setup4002b.cab
    C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\Downloaded Program Files\start.INF
    C:\WINDOWS\lbbho.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\srpcsrv32.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\txfdb32.dll

Try this to fix your desktop:
    • Click Start>Control Panel>Display
    • Go to the Desktop tab and click on the Customise Desktop button.
    • Go to the Web tab
    • In the web page box, click on the page that is checkmarked and then click the Delete button.
    • Ok your way out of the dialog and check your desktop.

    Please download FindQoologic from here:
    http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=134981
Save it to the desktop and run Find-Qoologic2.bat. This will generate a log file; please post the entire contents of the log file here for me to see.
